PART-TIME FAMILY COUNSELOR

Part-time Family Counselor to provide family and individual counseling to client's receiving in-home services.   Family Counselors are responsible for assessing the needs of the family and the development and implementation of the individualized treatment plans.  The Family Counselor will also provide all essential case management services to properly improve service delivery.  

 Qualifications for this position include:

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field or the equivalent in education and experience to equal a Masters Degree which at minimum would include a Bachelors Degree and three years of counseling experience;
• At least two years experience working with children who have a DSM IV diagnosis;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A valid driver's license and personal automobile.

PART-TIME COUNSELOR

Part-time Counselor to provide direct care in a Group Home setting.  Counselors are responsible for providing the necessary staff coverage to maintain staff/client ratios at all times and maintain a structured program of care.  Counselor will be responsible for providing direct counseling and supervision of client's during their shift.  Other responsibilities include the provision of Independent Living Skills training, as well as the development and implementation of therapeutic and recreational activities as well as daily routine schedules.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Services field or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five years experience in the Human Services with least two years of successful work experience with children in an institutional setting, social work, education or other allied discipline and/or a combination of education and experience equal to a Bachelors Degree.       
• At least two years experience working with children who have a DSM IV diagnosis;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• A valid driver’s license and personal automobile.
